Advisor, Affective Neurosciences
I am an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto Mississauga, where I direct the Regulatory and Affective Dynamics laboratory (www.radlab.zone). I study how brain activity and behavior can teach us more about the nature of human identity and emotion, with a focus on how we think about ourselves affects our mental health. I have published some recent papers on mindfulness, depression vulnerability, and interoception (the felt sense of the body).
In my spare time I raise two kids, play video games, basketball, and ultimate frisbee, listen to hiphop, and practice yoga and Taekwondo.
