      Silvia Wetherell

      More Details

I am a Registered Counsellor (SAC) and psychotherapist with specialised training in maternal mental health. I attained the first Certification in Perinatal Mental Health outside of North America, by the leading organisation Postpartum Support International. Additionally, I am a Postpartum Support International Coordinator and co-founder of the free support group for mothers, Mindful Mums.

Having been trained in London and with a Masters from Monash University, I practice integratively to help my clients work through pre and postpartum depression and anxiety, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, difficulties with bonding, relationship adjustment, anger management, and parenting issues.

Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Applied Psychophysiology through Saybrook University in California, I am investigating psychotherapeutic techniques for successful treatment of childbirth-related trauma.
