Taking on the role of software developer at MI, I apply my programming skillset to further enhance our products in meaningful ways.Coming from a game design background, with a diploma in game development and technology, I dabble in game frameworks, computer graphics and game engines. My past experiences include developing a Unity-based educational mathematics game for the Singapore Ministry of Education and a classroom management system for the Singapore Police Force training institute.I enjoy finding meaning and purpose in the work I do - creating products with the user in mind and observing the resultant impact, emotional or otherwise. All in all, I still have a lot to learn and am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be part of the team here at MI.
Our software uses facial photoplethysmography (PPG) and deep neural networks to personalise safe and effective treatments, while providing real time data on real world efficacy. The resulting gamified "measure-treat-measure" system has been clinically proven to reduce the risk of mental illness in cancer patients, as well as alleviate anxiety in young adults when compared to placebo in multiple clinical trials.
